Shot with my brother and a friend over a 7 hour period, this is one of my most thorough and cohesive photography projects to date. Continuing on with the John Lennon cover design (similar to season one), this one drew inspiration from his 1973 album Mind Games. Utilising a landscape photo I'd taken from another shoot in Norfolk, I physically cut out each individual element and scanned in the collage.
Each double page was carefully storyboarded beforehand with props and preparations organised long before, ensuring they stood on their own and portrayed the intended message/theme for every one of my designs. Elements like the hands covering the eyes and voyeuristic videotaping in Education Centre provide a commentary on Stalinist life; Whilst Plucked Chicken advocates vegetarianism and rails against battery farmed poultry.
