With a cover inspired by John Lennon’s Some Time in New York City, this was my first attempt at producing a coherent fashion editorial for my brand Goosbey. Shot over 4 hours, each image was storyboarded before to make sure it fitted within the local and wider theme. Inspiration came from many places: such as the outfit for the Cruel To Be Kind tee matching the film it was commissioned for; the framing of the psychedelic Mind’s Eye tees being a reference to John & Yoko’s 'Bed-Ins'; and the double denim looks taken from the outfits Timberlake and Britney wore in 2001.

For the cover I wrote fake articles relating to the designs, such as The Mind’s Eye story spoofing Jim Morrison’s arrest in Miami and a product recall report for Goosberry Pies. On the back of the cover I also included a fun crossword that once completed (as seen in the answers section) highlights the brands commitment to donating profits to Climate Outreach UK and the products' ethical origins. This was intended for customers to do once they were sent but in the end, due to high costs, I decided against the idea and instead completed it before scanning in and releasing digitally.
